AttendeesAlerter let you send email remainders to people invited to meeting planned in iCal:
-
every 30 minutes AttendeesAlerter checks your iCal's calendars searching for appointments with guests (events with attendees)
-
when an appointment with guests is found an email is sent to every invited guest
-
an email is sent only once, your guests will not receive annoying and repeating emails
AttendeesAlerter allows the configuration of:
- which iCal calendars will be searched for guests to be alerted
-
sender, subject and content of the emails sent to guests
-
when emails will be sent (the number of days in advance on the meeting)

| How to use it |

To use AttendeesAlerter you need to:
- configure the AttendeesAlerter preference panel from the System Preferences
- insert appointments with guests in you iCal agenda
the next images show an example on how to configure the preferences and insert an iCal event with guests

System Preferences configuration:
You have the image of a CD cover. You downloaded it from internet, or in iPhoto after having captured it with a digital camera. Follows those steps to edit and assign it to a track in iTunes:

Adding an appointment with guests to iCal:
To add to iCal an appointment (event, meeting) having guests (attendees) assigned, follow one of the two procedures described below

1) Adding an appointement with guests from iCal:
- open iCal application
- add en event to iCal
- edit the event details, start time, end time, location, and so on
- in the event details editor press the "Add Attendees.."
- from the Window menu open the "Address Panel"
- drag and drop from the "Address Panel" to the from the Window menu open the "Address Panel"

2) Adding an appointement with guests from Address Book:
- open Address Book application
- open iCal application
- drag one contact (having an email assigned) to the iCal day in which you want to organize the meeting
- a new event with the assigned guest will be added to iCal
- double click on the created event, this will open the event properties
- edit the event details, start date, end date, location, and so on
- eventually add more attendees to the event by drag and dropping other contacts from Address Book
